Oscar's journey in the world of radio began in South London with the mobile disco group called Basement Entertainment (Basement Crew). This early exposure to community engagement sparked his passion for connecting with people, and he has since made valuable contributions to different community initiatives.

Throughout the years, Oscar's involvement in community social development has provided him with diverse experiences, including events management, programming, conducting interviews with prominent guests, and fostering personal growth in others.

Originally from Lusaka Zambia, my interest in journalism started with my first job as a clerical officer with the office of the administrator general. The cases I encountered always made me think who is telling the stories of these people.

I later auditioned for DJ at radio phoenix and let’s just say the competition was stiff. I ended up working for the king of media himself Mr. Errol Hickey but in one of his other companies. Having to work around some of Zambia’s first privately owned radio studios made me realise media was definitely for me.

I enrolled with Evelyn Hone College department of Journalism. My experience is mainly in Radio and print media.

ABOUT MY SHOW;

“COMMUNITY MATTERS WITH PAMELA” will look at inspirational stories from both our local and geographic communities. I will look at addressing matters that affect our everyday life and how we can go about resolving them. I will also look at educational topics beneficial to us as a community.

I hope to bridge the gap between the diaspora and the mother land. “One Zambia” bring to light the challenges we all face.

Dj Pro is a multitalented creative who has worked as a presenter, production manager and sound engineer for over 10 years. In 2014 DJ he was nominated as one of the best radio deejays in Zambia alongside other talented deejays in Zambia.

Since then Dj Redz have played as special guest on many UK Sound Systems all over the Uk and of course his own Sound System, Playing at every type of event you can think of and even made trips overseas to play for the masses. One memorable moment being a trip to Zambia. 

Dj Redz plays OleSkool music exceptionally well (The Best of Reggae) and always bringing his trademark fun, witty, vibesy spirit to every set he plays, Old or NewSkool.

Dj Redz have also over the years garnered features and collaborated on Dub-Plate projects with many recognisable Older and Newer Legends within the Jamaican music space, Burning Spears, Marcia Griffiths, Beenie Man, Taurus Riley, Romain Virgo to name a few.  

Now a veteran in his craft and a mentor to So Online’s very own ever improving Dj Stunna, Dj Redz is now a member of the So Online family and continues to carry on his Dads Legacy with Bungo Redz Sound System and also creating and securing a long, solid and prosperous Legacy of his own.

It was whilst at Lundazi Secondary school, that he had his mind made up on what he wanted to do. It was full long deejaying from there on out but with pressure from family who wanted him to have something to fall back on in case the DJ stint didn’t go as planned, he also pursued studies in journalism.

In 1998, at the time known as funky B, he would be given a chance to showcase his skills at one of Lusaka’s hottest clubs at the time. That chance came by way of a man who they would together form an unbreakable friendship bond in the future. That man was DJ Links In Da Mix.

Bizzy Wizzy continued to ply his trade at a famous night spot in Kabwata. It was from here that name Bizzy Wizzy would grow by leaps and bounds so much so, he would spend a night playing for 3 to 4 different night clubs.

By 2005, it was a known fact that the man was right in the top bracket of Zambian DJs and testimony to this fact was his winning of the sprite DJ competition held in the same year. The following year, he scooped the 2006 Best mixing Club DJ on Hot FM and concluded it up with the 2007 Championship Battle of DJ`s in Kitwe. In 2008, he made history by becoming the first Zambian DJ to mix on Channel O’s OBOMA show. Later in 2009, Bizzy mixed at the Big Brother Africa Show for Zambian sensational singer Jordan Katembula aka JK, during the musician’s performance at one of the eviction shows.

His popularity kept growing, earning him shows in South Africa, Malawi, Botswana, Tanzania, The UK and The USA.

In 2015, he was awarded the Best Club DJ Award at the Zambian Music Awards.

His achievements have made him work closely locally and internationally in terms of GIGS with Zambia’s top music artists including JK,CHEF 187, AFUNIKA, GENERAL OZZY, DALISOUL, THE LATE P JAY,T SEAN,GENERAL KANENE, MAMPI ,INDI K, ROBERTO,MACKY 2, MA AFRICA, KAY FIGO, B1, OC to mention only a few. There is no doubting the fact that he has also played a major role in shaping Zambian Entertainment. Bizzy Wizzy initiated the move to be the first Zambian DJ to mix on ZNBC Smooth Talk hosted by Innocent Kalaluka.
The chain of clubs where he has played include, Alicats pub,club Moloko now called Harem, Bushveld lounge, Katjushas, Cantare super club (Monte casino) and Cafe De la soul. Then there is Chez Ntemba (Lilongwe, Malawi), Bilikanasi night club (Tanzania), The Thatched house (London),Safari club (Leeds) and Josephine lounge(Atlanta Georgia,USA)

Bizzy Wizzy has shared the stage with some of Africa`s top class Deejay`s such as DJ Chaiiman(Alicats pub),The African Mixer Dj Tabs (Malawi/South Africa), Dj Dino Bravo (Angola), Dj Waxxy (Nigeria), and Dj Blair Kim (UK). Others are Dj Goldierocks (UK), Dj Charlie Cool (Namibia), Zambia`s Dj Muzo Dollar and Dj Links, and Dj Ace Nemo of Cape Verde amongst many others.

Currently managing and playing at Klub Vegas night clubs spots doted around Lusaka, Bizzy Wizzy is also managing the entertainment aspect of Club Amnesia in Lusaka. This has since seen the birth of movements such as the DJ Summer Invasion and DJ’s Sunday Link Up hosted by Club Amnesia.

He also hosts the now annual street party at his pub in Kabwata. With 20 plus years in the industry, Bizzy Wizzy feels it is the right time to give back and what better way than imparting the knowledge and skills he has acquired over the years to budding DJs. This has seen him launch the House of DJs, a school were upcoming DJs can learn from him during special one to one classes.

Eddie's journey began with learning the art of DJing while his father was away, and he eventually honed his skills. He started his own mobile sound business, Eddie Groove Entertainment, where he provided his services for various events like weddings, birthdays, and more.

Initially, Eddie's dream job was to become a lawyer, which was in line with his family's wishes. However, over time, his passion for DJing grew stronger. In 2001, he officially began his DJing career at Galaxy Night Club in Kamwala, adopting the stage name "DJ Eddie Groove." After a year, he temporarily left to continue his education.

After completing his studies, Eddie returned to the nightlife scene and worked at CC Night Club on Kafue Road, Castle Shopping Mall. He spent eight years there, refining his skills and eventually deciding to change his DJ name to Coster Brown DJ.

Eddie's DJing journey took him beyond Zambia. He ventured to Zimbabwe in 2013, where he played at Funkylab Night Club, and later to Namibia in 2016, where he performed at Phaoros Night Club. Returning to Zambia, he resumed his work at Eastpoint in Kabwata.

In 2019, Eddie expanded his DJing career by working for two clubs, Riders and Eastpoint. His journey from a young enthusiast learning the ropes to an established DJ with international experience is a testament to his dedication and passion for the craft. Coster Brown DJ's story is a true example of following one's passion and making a name for oneself in the world of DJing.
